In a futuristic society, humanity is split into five factions, Abnegation the selfless, Candor the honest, Amity the peaceful, Erudite the intelligent, and Dauntless the brave.
Beatrice (Tris) Prior was born into Abnegation, but to everybody's surprise, on Choosing Day, switches factions to Dauntless.
From then on Tris' life was bound to change, and the more she discovers about the factions, the more secrets she begins to uncover.
